How do I get the ashes in the urn?
The funeral home or crematory can place the ashes in the urn; or in case the remains are already at home we recommend asking a friend if you do not feel comfortable.
How do I know if all of the ashes will fit?
For an adult person you need an urn above 170 cubic inches. Our rule of thumb is 1 pound of body weight for 1 cubic inch a little less (200 lbs. = 190 cubic inches)
How do cremation urns open?
Usually they open from the top, back or bottom.
Do you recommend sealing the urn?
You do not have to seal the urn but in case you want to we recommend a silicon caulking; which can be found at your local Home Depot or Wal Mart.
Can you tell me what a keepsake urn is?
A keepsake urn is just for a small amount of remains; perfect for a office or if you scatter the ashes and would like to keep a small amount with you. With a keepsake urn you can create a small memorial for your memory. As example we have some customers which split the ashes up between siblings.
