Address boxes

When visiting friends new houses I often make a box with their name and address on it. What follows is a story about one such box. Several years ago, a friend of mines brother and his family borrowed my friends house for the weekend. There was a terrible fire that broke out and they called 911. When the dispatcher needed an address they looked around and finally found the box that I made. Just in time they were able to give the address to the 911 dispatcher. The house was saved. This is a box like the one that saved the house. I call it a fire prevention box. It's also a great gift for a friend with a new house.
