Masonic Inlaid Trowel Box

Interior Length 10 inches, Interior Width 5 inches, Interior Height 5 inches
Top wood Checkered inlays in 1 inch squares of alternating
Black Walnut and Cherry. Cherry Inlay around top. Interior and exterior to be Black Walnut wood. Corner Detail Square. Hinge Wooden Hinge on long side. Blue Velvet Insert on inside bottom. Cherry inlaid design as shown below. Design cntered on top. The checker board would start on all sides of the circle. Inlay design to be in the middle of the checkered top placed towards the hinge side and the bottom towards the opening side. Lettering so you can read it without turning the box prior to opening. The checker board starting from the outside edge of the design circle. Lettering, Square-Compass-G in Black Walnut and circle in Cherry.

I will start with choosing the best veneer for the inlay.
